Our client is a fast-growing financial services firm operating across the U.S. and Canada, providing cloud bookkeeping, CFO support, and financial system implementation.
South has supported the company in building a full accounting and finance team across LATAM. As the business continued to grow, they returned to South to hire an additional Senior Bookkeeper to strengthen their accounting operations and support increasingly complex financial workflows.
The Challenge
The client needed a senior accounting professional who could operate independently across multiple financial functions while working with U.S. and Canadian companies.
The ideal candidate needed:
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong experience with bookkeeping and financial operations.
- Experience working remotely with North American companies.
- Ability to manage complex financial operations and multi-entity setups.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
- Advanced Excel and accounting software experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
The role required someone who could go beyond day-to-day bookkeeping and improve processes, manage multiple entities, and contribute to a growing finance function.

- Automated journal entries and integrated QuickBooks with AI tools to improve efficiency and streamline workflows.
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certified, with experience across NetSuite, Oracle, Gusto, SAP, Asana, Trello, OneDrive, and OneNote.

Monthly Rate: $2,990 all-in
